Opening Cannon Firing
9:50 – 10 a.m. | Southeast-facing Choptank balcony
Stop by for the official opening ceremony of the 2026 Annapolis Powerboat Show. This year the cannon will be fired by Alderman Frank Thorp.

Spinlock MOB Demo
12 p.m. | S Slips 16 & 17
Spinlock stages a live man-overboard demonstration in 20 minutes or less. A swimmer goes into the water to show off how the lifejacket inflates, then climbs into a Jon Buoy recovery unit as it deploys, followed by a walkthrough of its key features.
Boat Show Block Party
6 – 11 p.m. | Market Space
There will be a party in the Market Space to celebrate the opening night of the Annapolis Powerboat Show. Federal House, Iron Rooster, McGarvey’s, Middleton Tavern, and Annapolis Market House will be offering extended outdoor seating, special menu items, discounted drinks, and live musical performances.
