Anglers have always had a reason to attend the United States Powerboat Show. From shopping for new fishing and boating gear to stepping aboard some of the newest boating models. This year is no different. With an all-new FishTalk Fishing Spot, the needs of the novice fisherman and avid angler will be front and center; including a cold drink and food in hand offered by Pussers

Enjoy fun experiences for all ages, shop the latest in gear and accessories, get the chance to connect with fellow anglers, and of course – check out top fishing boats like these new and premiering boats that will be at the show.

Under Armour 

A featured exhibitor at the Fishing Spot, Under Armour is making their debut at the Powerboat Show this October. Stop by to check out their performance collection featuring key fishing apparel from hoodies to gaiters. Find some new gear for yourself or stock up for the holidays. Plan your purchases ahead of time by checking out their current gear.



Free Seminars 
On Friday and Saturday, we will feature free seminars presented by Maritime Fabrication in the Fishing Spot. These seminars, taught by industry experts, will provide insight into the industry, fishing in Maryland, and tips and tricks. The seminar series will end with an Ask Lenny Q&A Session Saturday evening with Lenny Rudow from FishTalk Magazine.  See the full schedule at the bottom of this page. 


Happy Hour(s) 
It is always 5 o’clock at  FishTalk’s Fishing Spot. As you fill your day walking the docks shopping new fishing boats and gear, make sure to stop by for some Happy Hour celebrations. Or, just stop by at any hour.  Pussers will be onsite serving cold adult beverages and food. Live music, courtesy of Turtle Box Audio will fill the air and great stories amongst fellow anglers will be shared!


Virtual Fishing Experience 

Try your fishing skills on land with Harvester’s Fishing Simulator. Harvester, a new media platform for fishing, hunting, and shooting will debut at the United States Powerboat Show, and will feature a fun fishing simulator for all attendees to try out while at the Fishing Spot. Harvester is welcoming all anglers to sign up for the platform at the show and any entires will be entered to win one of two Maryland snakehead fishing charter packages. Stop by to learn more. 


Industry Insights 
Head to the Fishing Spot to connect with leading outdoorsman organizations, Fish & Hunt Maryland and Coastal Conservation Association Maryland (CCA). Representatives from each will help expand your knowledge of the many fishing opportunities right here in Maryland and bring awareness to fishing impacts on our waters. Come chat with them about fishing in Maryland. 


Culinary Delight 

Joining CCA on Thursday and Friday is Beth Brewster and Roxanne Wolf with the Chesapeake Culinary Center located in Denton MD. Together, these organizations will provide dietary information and recipes for Blue Catfish, as well as hand out samples of Catfish Cakes (while supplies last).



Take Me Fishing

Come by the Fishing Spot to learn more about Take Me Fishing.  We will have educational handouts and kid coloring activities promoting participation in recreational boating and fishing.
