Become Better Racing Crew
On Sunday, pro sailor and seasoned coach, Jahn Tihansky, will gather small groups of aspiring racing crew dockside for an hour of tips on how to step up their racing game using a J/80 one design keelboat as our training platform. This ticket includes entry to the show. Two sessions are available: 10:30am & 12pm. Proceeds from the class support CRAB’s racing program.
Together with freelance coach Aidan Gray, Jahn will be providing an up close look at a wide range of critical onboard techniques to help you improve your skills and become a more valuable crewmember.
These will include:

- Communication & coordination
- Main, jib, spinnaker handling and trim
- Cross sheeting and inhauling a jib
- Tacking & gybing in all positions
- Weight placement and kinetic body movement
And more as conditions and time allow.
