Seakeeper & Seakeeper Ride

Seakeeper is the world leader in marine motion control technology. Founded in 2003, Seakeeper invested five years in R&D before introducing its first gyrostabilizer to the market in 2008. Since then, the company has grown from a start-up to the worldwide leader in stabilization, with products designed for boats of all sizes. With continued growth and innovation, Seakeeper is pioneering motion control both at rest and underway. In 2022, Seakeeper Ride, a first-of-its-kind Vessel Attitude Control System (VACS), became the company’s first product deviation from gyrostabilizers, launching for boats up to 55 ft.

Seakeeper
Seakeeper gyrostabilizers eliminate up to 95% of boat roll with advanced vacuum-sealed flywheel technology and active control. With no external appendages, minimal maintenance, and flexible installation for both new builds and retrofits (4,000+ completed), Seakeeper is the trusted choice for vessels 23 ft. to 200+ ft.

Seakeeper Ride
Seakeeper Ride replaces traditional trim tabs to provide automatic, complete underway stabilization, eliminating up to 70% of pitch and roll. Using custom, proprietary inertial sensing hardware and software, the system measures boat motion 1,000 times per second and deploys rotary blades 100 times per second to counteract pitch, roll, and yaw before they’re felt. Features like auto trim, faster acceleration to plane, and coordinated turns improve both performance and comfort. Seakeeper Ride installs quickly—often in as little as two days—and is offered as standard equipment on more than 175 new boat models.

Together, Seakeeper Ride and Seakeeper deliver complete motion control—underway and at rest—helping boaters enjoy longer days, smoother rides, and total confidence on the water.
