The Elite 190 is certified to the Harmonized Level 70 standard, recognized by both the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) and Transport Canada (TC). This dual approval helps boaters select a PFD best suited for their activity and environment and allows easier travel between the US and Canada. The Elite far exceed the in-water performance requirements of a Level 70 device, offering higher buoyancy and more advanced functionality.

The Elite 190 uses the Hammar MA1 inflator featuring Hydrostatic Inflation Technology (HIT), exclusive to Mustang Survival’s North American-approved products. Designed to activate only when submerged below 4” of water, HIT ensures that humidity, rain, or spray won’t cause accidental inflation and remains maintenance-free for up to 5 years.
