CMPower HP27 Back Contact Solar Panels – 27.4% Cell Efficiency

Custom Marine Products is introducing its next generation of high-output Back Contact (BC) solar panels, designed to deliver more power, better performance, and exceptional reliability for marine and off-grid applications.

At the heart of the new lineup are advanced Back Contact solar cells with up to 27.4% cell efficiency, placing this technology among the highest-efficiency commercially available solar cell technologies. By generating more power per square foot, these panels help boaters and off-grid users make the most of limited roof, deck, and installation space.

The new BC panel lineup also features a different electrical characteristic designed to provide improved shade tolerance—an important advantage in real-world marine environments where sails, rigging, antennas, booms, and other onboard equipment can create partial shading.

The complete range includes semi-flexible, walk-on semi-rigid, carbon fiber, and rigid bifacial solar panels, with power options ranging from 70W to 550W. Panel dimensions have been kept close to many of our current models, making the new generation an excellent option for both new installations and replacement or upgrade projects.
