Adventures of Lahana

Join me for boat projects, sailing and boating adventures, group charter events, and other adventures around the world! Many people name their boat after some leisure activity, implying that spending time on a boat is relaxing. While I have certainly had my share of awesome, relaxing days on boats, most of my time onboard is an endless series of fixing things! Lahana (or La hana) means “Workday” in Hawaiian, so I thought the name was appropriate! That said, I wouldn’t trade a day of it! I also like that there are untold other meanings of the word, some also appropriate, others just hilarious: Hindi: “Outstanding debt” Marathi: “undersized” Hebrew: “Bright and shining intellect” or “Wise mind” Turkish: “Cabbage”
