Kick Back in the No Wake Zone at the 2026 Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show

Date: March 23, 2026

Nobody really decides spring has arrived. You just walk outside one morning, feel the breeze, and realize you’ve been thinking about your boat for three weeks straight. The 2026 Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show (April 24-26) is the place to celebrate the start of the sailing season, and the No Wake Zone is where you go when you want to slow down and soak it in.

Situated at the top of Ego Alley, the No Wake Zone is the show’s hub for relaxation, refreshments, and the kind of waterfront atmosphere that reminds you why you fell in love with the water in the first place. You’re on the docks, in the middle of downtown, with a drink in your hand and nowhere urgent to be. Sailing, distilled.

The drinks alone are worth the visit. Gray Wolf Spirits, a small-batch Maryland distillery based in St. Michaels, is partnering with Baltimore’s CAnE Collective to mix specialty cocktails on-site. Gray Wolf supplies the rye, bourbon, gin, and vodka; CAnE brings craft mixers in flavors such as Pomegranate Pear, Blood Orange, Spiced Pineapple, and Guava, all made with natural ingredients and real sugar. Prefer a pint? Pherm Brewing Company, a community-focused craft brewery in Gambrills, will be pouring from their lineup of IPAs, stouts, sours, and lagers. Their Boat Show Brew, a pilsner brewed exclusively for Annapolis Boat Shows, is the kind of beer that pairs with everything, especially a slow walk down the docks. Latitude 38, located just down the road on Dock Street, rounds out the provisions with wine, crushes, and food for purchase.

IKEA College Park is outfitting the space with lounge chairs, tables, gazebos, and lawn games. The Deck and Fence Depot is providing the perimeter fencing, putting their residential craftsmanship on full display. The effect is something like your best friend’s back deck, except it floats and has better furniture.

Friday evening brings the Foulest Foulies Afterparty, sponsored by Gill Marine. Starting at 5 p.m. with the main event at 6 p.m., the competition invites sailors to strut their most beat-up, patched-over, salt-encrusted foul weather gear in front of a panel of judges. The winner takes home a new Gill OS2 Offshore Jacket, Bibs, and 60L Voyager Duffel Bag. If your foulies have been holding on through sheer stubbornness and marine-grade adhesive, this is your runway. Space may be limited, so click here to register early.

Sunday, April 26, opens with Mimosa Sunday, sponsored by Renewal by Andersen. From 10 a.m. to noon, complimentary mimosas are served in the No Wake Zone. Free mimosas, floating docks, sailboats in every direction. If that doesn’t get you out of bed on a Sunday morning, nothing will. (21 and over only.)

Live music from Sean Owen carries through the weekend, tying it all together with the kind of easy, waterside energy that makes spring on the Chesapeake feel like a season invented specifically for you.

The Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show runs April 24 through 26 at City Dock in downtown Annapolis. Tickets are on sale now at annapolisboatshows.com. Grab yours, come down to the No Wake Zone, and let spring do what it does best.
