Where to Go

Naval Academy Club at 2 Truxtun Road.  If walking, enter USNA Pedestrian Gate #3 on Maryland Avenue. Personal cars are not permitted on Academy grounds.

When to Arrive

Registration and breakfast are from 7:15 am to 8:15 am

Where to Park

Daily parking is available at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium at 550 Taylor Ave in Annapolis, Gate 5, for $10.  Follow signs to parking area.  A free bus shuttle with a Cruisers University sign takes attendees to Gate #3, just outside the Naval Academy Club.

              4:15 pm Academy Gate 3 to Stadium

Alternate buses to Stadium:

Monday-Friday:  State Shuttle or the Circulator B runs every 20′ til 8 pm.  Bus stop: Church Circle & School Street and returns to the Navy Stadium. $2/one way, $1/seniors

Alternate Parking Options:  Calvert Street Garage has complimentary parking from Friday, April 20th after 6pm thru Monday at 6am.  There are limited spaces at the Donner Lot available for Cruisers University Students.  If a student is in need of a handicap parking space, please contact tara@annapolisboatshows.com and arrangements will be made in advance.

What to Bring

Photo ID.  This is essential to enter the Naval Academy. Bring two ID’s if from a non-compliant state or from a state with a compliancy extension.   Please check this link:  https://www.dhs.gov/current-status-states-territories  Canadian residents must bring passport.

What to Wear

Please be respectful of the Naval Academy dress code – no tee shirts, cut-off shorts, etc.  Polo shirts are fine.  A sweater if the AC is cooler than you like. Be comfortable, and wear good shoes for walking.

            4:00 – 4:30      Question & Answer Session – How to File a Formal Storm Plan for Insurance Purposes with Kerry Gonzalez, CEO & Marketing Director of  AMG Insurance International

Social Events 

  • Monday, October 8th, 5-8pm  Join your fellow students for the famous Breakdown Parade viewed from one of the best seats in town, on the dock in the middle of the action.  Enjoy cocktails and snacks as over 200 sailboats leave Ego Alley at the end of Annapolis Sailboat Show!
  • Tuesday, October 9th, 4:30-6pm  A Student Social at Reynold’s Tavern, 7 Church Circle, a short walk from the Naval Academy.  A chance to meet your fellow students and instructors while enjoying light munchies and a drink, bring your boating stories to share!

  • Wednesday, October 10th, 4:30-6pm  An evening of Rum & Mixology.  Join us as Paul Jacobs, President of Annapolis Boatshows, instructs our students on how to create his favorite rum punch and a representative from Papa Pillar Rum will chime in with other rum mixing tips & recipes.  Location to be determined.

Don’t Miss

  • There are very few places where you will find so many sailors and boaters in one place; the Annapolis Fall Sailboat Show & Power Boat Show is one of them. Admission to the Boat Shows is included with your tuition and is a short walk from the Naval Academy.   Will Call near show entrance will have a list of all Cruisers University students to allow entry to all show days
