Where to Go
Cruisers University will be held at the Governor Calvert House within The Historic Inns of Annapolis. The Governor Calvert House is located at 58 State Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401. It is located a short walk from the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show grounds through historical downtown.

Registration and breakfast are from 7:15 am to 8:15 am
Where to Stay
The Historic Inns of Annapolis offer a room block discount for the participants of Cruisers University. The dates for the discounted rooms are starting on Wednesday night, April 22nd through Monday morning, April 27th.

Where to Park
Daily parking is available at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium at 550 Taylor Ave in Annapolis, Gate 5, for $10. Follow signs to parking area. A free bus shuttle with a Cruisers University sign takes attendees to The Governor Calvert House at 58 State Circle.

All shuttle buses will be available at the Boat Show Main Gate at the corner of Randall & Dock Street. This free shuttle runs until one hour after the show closes.
Alternate buses to Stadium:
Thursday-Friday: State Shuttle or the Circulator B runs every 20′ til 8 pm. Bus stop: Church Circle & School Street and returns to the Navy Stadium. $2/one way, $1/seniors

Alternate Parking Options: Calvert Street Garage has complimentary parking from Friday, April 24th after 6pm thru Monday, April 27th at 6am. There is also Valet parking available at the Governor Calvert House, The Historic Inns of Annapolis at a cost of $15/day.
What to Wear
Dress for the spring weather to walk around town and the show grounds. Over the past few years, spring Cruisers University has experienced torrential rain, freezing cold temperatures as well as a mini heatwave. A sweater if the AC is cooler than you like in the classrooms. Be comfortable, and wear good shoes for walking.
A few other details
At the beginning of April, your Cruisers University credentials will be mailed to you so please make sure you provide a current mailing address to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Cruisers University credential is your name tag for classes but it is also your multi-day ticket to both the Bay Bridge Powerboat Show, April 17th-19th, and the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show, April 24th-26th.
If you registered as a couple and you want to add an additional email address to your account, please again send the information to email@example.com.
Again this spring, we will offer electronic instructor handouts in 2 forms: A Dropbox Link for you to review all handouts prior to your arrival in Annapolis as well as a USB thumbdrive on your first day of classes. It is suggested by the instructors for you to print off any outlines or notes prior to classes, it is not required but it will make your understanding of the class material a little easier.

- Friday, 4/24th – A night of Steel Drums with Jim Zima.
- Saturday, 4/25th, 5:30pm – Maiden Movie Night hosted by Amanda Swan Neal, the rigger on the first all female crew to complete the 1989 Whitbread Around the World Race. She will give a short presentation, “Reaching for Blue Horizons’, before the movie and will then offer a Question and Answer session at the end of the movie. Drinks and popcorn provided.
