Chesapeake Bay Region Celebrates the Launch of Spring Boating at the Bay Bridge Boat Show at Safe Harbor Narrows Point

The annual spring powerboat show played host to a vibrant mix of activities and an array of boats ranging from accessible classics to cutting-edge performance vessels.

Annapolis Boat Shows General Manager, Sheila Jones, shared her excitement about the success of this year’s event.

“It’s clear that the show has found a great home at Safe Harbor Narrows Point,” she said. “With the food trucks, live entertainment, free seminars, and the addition of Safe Harbor’s amenities (including the Lazy Mermaid Pool Bar) we managed to build on the show’s broad appeal.”

One of the highlights of this year’s Bay Bridge show was its expanded educational opportunities, including the “Women Making Waves” workshop, BoatUS’s On-Water Training, and the blue catfish cooking demonstration in partnership with The Narrows Restaurant and the Maryland department of Agriculture. Both seasoned veterans and newcomers were able to enhance their boating skills and gain practical, hands-on training to prepare them for the season ahead.

With its season opener’s success in the books, the team at Annapolis Boat Shows now has its sights set across the Bay on downtown Annapolis, where they’ll host their annual spring sail event. The Spring Sailboat Show will take place at the Annapolis City Dock from April 25-27.
