Free Seminars Presented by Chesapeake Bay Magazine

Chesapeake Bay Magazine is working on a full schedule of seminars for our 2021 Bay Bridge Boat Show. All classes will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the same times each day.

2021 Seminars

Are you in the market for a boat? Need to sell one? Join North Point Yacht Sales for a conversation about the must-dos and must-haves in these transactions that will ensure you make a good deal without any surprises. Learn from a seasoned boat broker and bring your questions.

Does docking your vessel cause you stress and anxiety? Let the Annapolis School of Seamanship show you the ropes, trick and techniques to make docking easy. Topics include situational awareness, close quarters maneuvering, line handling and communication.

Dream of Sailing to Bermuda? 2022 will mark the 22nd running of the Mustang Survival Annapolis to Bermuda Race, a 753-mile race first sailing in 1979. The challenging course combines inshore and offshore racing down the Chesapeake Bay, across the Gulfstream and onto Bermuda. It enables sailors to fulfill a lifelong ambition of a blue water passage to an island known for its soft coral beaches, in an organized event promoting friendly competition with other boats. Join race veterans and organizers for an overview of how to participate.

Join Chesapeake Bay Media publisher John Stefancik for a fun-filled exploration of some of the best towns to visit on the Upper Bay. He’ll cover day-tripping, overnight cruising, where to go if you just want to take the boat out for lunch or dinner, and how to get the most out of your time on the water.

No pre-registration necessary but limited seating is available. First come, first served.

Seminar schedule and speakers are subject to change. Show admission required.
