SAILING ANNAPOLIS TO BERMUDA 1PM
Dream of sailing to Bermuda? 2020 will mark the 22nd running of the Annapolis to Bermuda race (A2B), a 753-mile race first sailed in 1979. The challenging course combines inshore and offshore racing down the Chesapeake Bay, across the Gulfstream, and onto Bermuda. It enables sailors to fulfill a lifelong ambition of a blue water passage to an island known for its soft coral beaches, in an organized event promoting friendly competition with other boats. CLIPPER ROUND THE WORLD RACE 3PM
See a unique 20 minute film, shot from onboard a stripped out ocean racing yacht in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race La Course de Leur Vie [Race of Your Life]. This film was awarded the Prix du Public, at the Waterproof Festival in Geneva, Switzerland. With one hand for the boat and one for her camera, Maéva Bardy, from France, captured the sheer magnitude of this epic global challenge, the extremity of the weather and also the exhilaration and exhaustion of the crew as they battled with Mother Nature.
