Annapolis Boat Shows Return This Fall with New Layout During City Dock Transformation
Date: July 20, 2026
For immediate release | Annapolis, MD – The Annapolis Boat Shows are returning this October with a refreshed show layout designed to accommodate the ongoing City Dock Resiliency Project while delivering the world-class experience attendees have come to expect.
As construction progresses on the City’s historic waterfront, Annapolis Boat Shows has worked closely with the City of Annapolis to reimagine portions of the show footprint, ensuring the Annapolis Powerboat Show (October 8-11) and Annapolis Sailboat Show (October 15-18) remain the cornerstone of the city’s fall tourism season.
Among the most noticeable changes this year, the traditional A and B Tents on City Dock have been removed to accommodate construction. To ensure the overall size of the show is not diminished, other exhibit tents have been expanded, the show has expanded further into Compromise and Randall Streets, and several new gathering areas have been added throughout the grounds, creating additional spaces for attendees to relax, connect, and enjoy the waterfront.
While the layout of the show will be different, visitors can still expect the same premier experience featuring hundreds of boats, marine products, educational programming, hands-on demonstrations, and access to the latest innovations in recreational boating.
The City Dock Resiliency Project represents one of the most significant infrastructure investments in Annapolis’s history, designed to reduce chronic flooding, improve public spaces, modernize utilities, and better protect the waterfront from future sea level rise. Throughout the project, the City of Annapolis and Annapolis Boat Shows have worked together to ensure the annual shows remain strong for residents, visitors, exhibitors, and the downtown businesses that rely on the economic impact they generate.
