Annapolis Boat Shows Offer 50% off Tickets to Support Dock Street Businesses
Date: September 11, 2026For immediate release | Annapolis, MD – The Annapolis Boat Shows are partnering with Dock Street businesses to encourage residents and visitors to shop, dine, and spend time downtown in the weeks leading up to their fall shows.
From September 14-18, customers who visit participating Dock Street businesses can scan a QR code at each location to receive 50% off Preview Day and General Admission tickets to either the Annapolis Powerboat Show (Oct 8-11) or Annapolis Sailboat Show (Oct. 15-18). The offer represents the largest ticket discount being offered on fall show tickets this year.
Participating businesses include The Big Cheese and Sammy’s Deli, The Admiral’s Cup, Dock Street Bar and Grill, Pip’s Dock Street Dogs, Storm Brothers Ice Cream Factory, Sofi’s Crepes, and Latitude 38.
The promotion is designed to drive foot traffic to Dock Street both before and during the fall shows, while reminding visitors that businesses along City Dock remain open throughout its revitalization.
“Dock Street is an important part of the Annapolis Boat Shows experience, and we want people to continue making it part of their plans this fall”, said Mary Ewenson, Annapolis Boat Shows President. “The City Dock Resiliency Project is a great investment in the future and will help address nuisance flooding for years to come. Great for the City and the Boat Shows! However, we know businesses are navigating the challenges of construction today, so we want to help bring people downtown and encourage them to support those businesses that are open and welcoming visitors.”
The fall shows provide another opportunity to bring visitors into downtown Annapolis. The Annapolis Powerboat Show runs October 8 through 11, followed by the Annapolis Sailboat Show from October 15 to 18.
Visitors are encouraged to make time for Downtown businesses before, during, and after the shows. Whether to stop in for a meal or drink, shop locally, take in some live music, grab a sweet treat or simply enjoy the waterfront.
