Highland Duck on the High Seas

Join us aboard Highland Duck, our Diesel Duck 462—a 48-foot, go-anywhere steel expedition trawler—and we’ll take you to some amazing places! We’re Bobby and Mayaugust, two adventurous boaters from Baltimore who sold our home, bought Highland Duck in Scotland, and set off to explore the world by sea. We’ve traveled through the British Isles, France, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, North Africa, Monaco, Italy, and beyond—and our adventure is far from over! Our videos feature beautiful destinations, challenging passages, unexpected problems, and the humorous moments of life aboard a long-range trawler. We also share practical information about boat maintenance, international cruising, customs and immigration, anchoring, marinas, and making this lifestyle affordable.
