Custom Marine Products is premiering its new CMPower 450Ah Solid State LiFePO4 Battery, featuring built-in NMEA 2000 communication for seamless integration with compatible marine electronics and onboard monitoring systems.
Designed specifically for demanding marine power applications, this 12.8V, 450Ah battery delivers 5,760Wh of energy in a compact Group 8D footprint. Its integrated NMEA 2000 connectivity enables battery data and system information to be shared with compatible marine electronics, giving boat owners greater visibility into their onboard energy system.
The battery delivers 300A of continuous discharge capability and up to 600A for 10 seconds, making it suitable for large inverter systems, electric winches, windlasses, and other high-current onboard loads. It is also Victron compatible for advanced power-system integration.
At its core is advanced Solid State LiFePO4 cell technology, designed for improved thermal stability, enhanced safety characteristics, long cycle life, and high-performance operation. An integrated heating system provides low-temperature charging protection, while Bluetooth monitoring allows users to monitor battery status from compatible iOS and Android devices.
A key serviceability advantage is the field-replaceable Smart BMS. The removable top provides convenient access to the BMS, allowing it to be serviced or replaced with simple tools, particularly valuable for long-range cruising, expedition vessels, and mission-critical applications where minimizing downtime is essential.
The battery supports up to 16 batteries in parallel and up to four in series for scalable 24V, 36V, or 48V systems.
