Askari 65 Power to Make World Premiere at the 2026 Annapolis Powerboat Show
Date: July 13, 2026
The Askari 65 Power, a 65-foot aluminum long-range cruiser from South African builder Askari Yachts, will make its world premiere at the Annapolis Powerboat Show, October 8-11, 2026, at City Dock in downtown Annapolis.
Built in Cape Town and designed by Du Toit Yacht Design, the Askari 65 Power is engineered for extended offshore passages. The vessel carries 4,650 liters of fuel, providing a range of 2,500 nautical miles at a 10-knot cruising speed and 3,900 nautical miles at 6 knots, with a maximum speed of 16 knots.

Construction in marine-grade aluminum offers strength, reduced maintenance, and long-term value, and it allows each hull to be customized to its owner’s cruising style. Interior configurations include four double ensuite cabins, three ensuite cabins with dedicated crew quarters, or a full owner’s hull. The boat features full standing headroom throughout, including in the engine room.
Askari Yachts builds a limited range of custom aluminum yachts from its facility in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. Its design partner, Du Toit Yacht Design, has drawn more catamaran tonnage than any other studio in the Southern Hemisphere. The Askari 65 Power is the builder’s flagship, joined by a line of performance sailing catamarans beginning with a 55-foot model.

The Annapolis Powerboat Show returns to City Dock October 8-11, 2026, transforming Ego Alley into a temporary in-water marina featuring new and premiering powerboats, marine equipment, and accessories. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets and additional information are available at annapolisboatshows.com.
