What’s On Deck: A Guide to the 2026 Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show
Date: March 3, 2026The Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show is back April 24–26, and whether you’ve logged a thousand nautical miles or have never set foot on a boat, there’s something there with your name on it. Board boats, talk to experts, take a sailing lesson, and learn something — all within walking distance of downtown Annapolis. Here’s what’s in store.
Boats to Board

There’s nothing quite like boarding boats in the heart of America’s sailing capital. This year’s show will feature vessels ranging from racing dinghies to 50-foot-plus monohulls and a wide variety of catamarans. If you don’t find your next boat there, you’re sure to find one worth dreaming about. See the full boat list (more models will be added as we get closer to the show).
Exhibitors to Explore

Online shopping is great and all, but nothing beats getting your hands on a product and talking to an actual expert. The Spring Sailboat Show features a collection of products and services catering to sailors. You’ll find everything from foul weather gear and furling systems to outdoor furniture and artisanal alcohol. Check out our exhibitor directory.
No Wake Zone

It’s not all boats and booths! The No Wake Zone is a great spot to grab a drink, kick back, and relax while floating in the middle of Ego Alley. There will be live music, food for purchase from Latitude 38, and furnishings and outdoor games provided by IKEA. You’ll also be able to sample locally crafted liquors, mixers, and beers.
Foulest Foulies After Party

Think your foulies have seen better days? Annapolis Boat Shows and Gill are throwing an after party in the No Wake Zone on Friday, April 24, starting at 5 p.m., and the main event is a fashion show where the worst-dressed sailor wins. Dust off your most duct-taped, salt-stained gear and strut your stuff at the Foulest Foulies Fashion Show at 6 p.m. for a chance to walk away in a brand-new set from Gill. Sign up here.
First Sail Workshop

Ever wanted to learn to sail but didn’t know where to start? The First Sail Workshop, presented by Sailtime and American Sailing, pairs a classroom overview of sailing basics with real time on the water aboard a Beneteau First 22 departing right from the show. Show admission and a one-year BoatUS membership are included. Learn more.
Seminar Series

The sailing seminar series is back by popular demand with topics ranging from celestial navigation to sailing with kids. They’ll be held every hour throughout the show and are included in the price of admission. See the schedule.
Cruisers University

Cruisers University returns to the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show with two courses that go well beyond the classroom.
The Offshore Emergency Medicine seminar, now in its 29th year, combines pre-course study with three days of hands-on medical training designed for sailors operating beyond the reach of quick rescue; it’s Coast Guard approved and accepted by major ocean races including the Newport Bermuda and TRANSPAC Races.
The three-day Master Diesel Maintenance and Advanced Diagnostics course takes participants from oil changes and impeller swaps through advanced troubleshooting on running engine models with instructor Jim Zima. Both courses include admission to the show.
Become Better Racing Crew

On Sunday, pro sailor and seasoned coach, Jahn Tihansky, will gather small groups of racing crew dockside for an hour of tips on how to step up their racing game. This class is just $30 and includes entry to the Show. Proceeds from the class support CRAB’s racing program. Registration coming soon.
Ask Me Anything about Sailing

New to sailing and have questions? Not sure the best way to visit the show for the first time? Wondering where to take sailing lessons, how to research boats, what kind of sailing is for you? Hit the show early and take advantage of a panel of sailors who love sharing their love of sailing and expertise. This session is free, but pre-registration is requested (so there will be enough coffee and donuts). Sign up here!
Scavenger Hunts

The Spring Sailboat Show has a side quest, and it’s exclusively for the under-12 crowd. Grab a EWE Spirit scavenger hunt card at the SpinSheet booth, track down the items scattered around the show, and turn it in for a prize. Keep an eye out for hidden rubber ducks along the way; find one, return it to the information booth, and you’ll come away with a neat prize (you can keep the duck too).
All that’s left is getting there. Tickets are available now at annapolisboatshows.com.
