Annapolis Boat Shows Media Breakfast

Press kits and event calendars will be made available during these events as will pastries and coffee. There will be a short presentation on behalf of the Shows (starting at 8:45) followed by plenty of time to eat, mingle, and ask the ABS team any questions you might have. Harken Press Briefing

Harken will hold its annual press briefing in front of that Red Tent—perhaps for the last time. There will be information on a new initiative and some new products.

VX Boat Demo Sail

Mackay Boats is holding demo sails for the VX Range of boats from October 9th to 12th, weather permitting. There will be an opportunity for people to go out for a sail on a VX One, VX Two, and VX Evo throughout the Annapolis Sailboat Show. Their people will be available to assist with the demo sails—just bring some sailing gear to the show.

Schooner Woodwind Legacy Continues With 59º North Sailing

After more than 30 years, Annapolis icon Schooner Woodwind enters a new chapter. The Kaye family has passed the helm to Andy Schell and Mia Karlsson of 59º North Sailing. Andy, a former deckhand turned global sailing entrepreneur, returns home to steward the next generation of Bay sails. Stop by to meet the new team, grab a photo, and hear what’s next for Woodwind—still sailing daily from Annapolis and now linked to worldwide offshore adventures.
